Zinnia Wilson

Recreational Avalanche Level 1, Recreational Avalanche Level 2, Professional Avalanche Level 1
Dog sledding for 2 winters, my late partner and I lived in a world of snow. Loved putting in new trails, skidding firewood with a snowmobile, and even a forced bivee on Togwotee pass with the dog-teams when we lost the trail in a blizzard.
As a 17-year trail builder, I’ve long taught tree falling, tree climbing, horsemanship and rigging for forest service crews. It felt natural to extend my teaching to the activity and environment I love most: traveling the mountains in winter.
Run the Trails and Wilderness program for the Cottonwood Canyons (and beyond).
