Rocky Spencer
Raquel “Rocky” Spencer Schifani hails originally from the state of Texas, but don’t hold that against her. She moved to Colorado in the fall of 2008, and it only took one winter to convince her to stay permanently. Once she moved to the mountains, and joined the Vail Ski Patrol her love of snow science blossomed. Now she is a member of the avalanche technician team, CRAD, and the current President of Vail Mountain Rescue Group’s board of directors. When she isn’t working you will likely find her on her snowmobile, dirt bike, or playing in a river somewhere.
