Lisa grew up skiing on the east coast, and at an early age on a family ski trip to Colorado, she asked, who cut these perfect ski trails down all the mountains?

Once Lisa graduated from Colorado College, she moved to Jackson Hole to pursue being a ski bum. Chasing her passions lead her to jobs like ski patrolling, teaching avalanche education, and eventually avalanche forecasting for the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and then the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center.

Her most recent role was the Snow Ranger for the Grand Teton National Park. This was an interagency position with the BTAC. There she worked as a public forecaster for the BTAC and developed park specific products. Lisa is excited to transition from public forecasting and explore other positions within the industry, like working with AAI.
