Jamie Weeks
Jamie has blazed the trail as a splitboard guide. Many of his achievements can be considered a first in the industry. He began working as a snowboard guide for the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in 1999 and has been guiding heli skiing in Alaska since 2001. He also has spent 15 years teaching Avalanche education for the American Avalanche Institute. Jamie is an ambassador for K2 Snowboards, Backcountry Access, and Karakoram. In April 2016, Jamie completed the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) Ski Guide Exam on a splitboard. Making him one of the few splitboarders to attain this level of certification. In the spring of 2018 Jamie and his wife Nancy moved to Stanley Idaho. The Sawtooths are now their home.
