Hannah found backcountry skiing as a teenager in New Hampshire. Once she mastered skiing ice and river beds she began to chase snowy landscapes across the west, and hasn’t looked back. Hannah has a strong background in education, and is excited to contribute her teaching experience and love of skiing to AAI.
When she’s not chasing snow or teaching avalanche courses, Hannah works as the wilderness program manager for the Montana Wilderness School in Bozeman. Outside of work she enjoys painting, gardening, baking, and all manner of recreating in the mountains.
