Erme Catino is a skier and freelance writer based in Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT. He has a M.S. in Environmental Studies and has worked in various roles within the ski industry –  including running PR for brands, contributing to various ski publications, and was a correspondent for Powder Magazine for eight years. He’s typically walking around the Wasatch in search of powder or scheming his way to British Columbia. He began teaching avalanche classes in 2019 with the Utah Avalanche Center and helped coordinate a new youth program. He will also be working with Utah Mountain Adventures as a ski guide this season.
