Emilie Drinkwater is a  mountain guide and guide service owner based in Salt Lake City, UT and Keene Valley, NY.  She grew up alpine and nordic ski racing in New Hampshire and was first introduced to climbing while in college in NY’s Adirondack Mountains.  Her first work as a climbing guide was in 2001 and today she is the 9th woman certified as an IFMGA/UIAGM American Mountain Guide.

Her climbing and guiding lifestyle has taken her worldwide from the Adirondacks to Asia in pursuit of culture, exploration, and adventure.  Though most at home in the rugged crags and icy mountains of the Northeast, Emilie thrives on exploring the world’s biggest and most remote mountain ranges.
